Its been awhile sence ive last been here, but im finally stepping up my game. Ive found a 2000 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 for a decent price $9900 its a 6spd 83k miles. Everything has been looked over but the last thing i gotta do is carfax it, Can someone who has carfax help me with this one. If i PM someone the VIN can they help me out on this. If the car isnt wrecked or have rebuilt or salvaged titled i can prolly pick it up. next weekend.

its black with black leather, all stock. The only thing that sucks about getting this car now is that winter is comming so only a couple months to drive it. Soon as it snows its eaither getting put in storage or, sitting in the driveway with a cover on it...*Sucks not having a garage*. Cause im pretty sure a WS6 is terriable to drive in the snow. Its also good tho cause gas here is dropping dramaticly. I got gas today for $2.04..but hell winter commming or not i hope to be owning a Ws6

just got the carfax on it. It says Damage was reported in july 07. involving a curb very minor damage was reported. When i talked to the dealer he had to buy another WS6 front right wheel. I wounder if the previous owner hit a curb and bent the rim but would that even show up on carfax. Im kinda thinking this one threw im hoping its just a bent wheel not someone hit a curb and messed up the front right suspension.

As much as i what to right now, im still hoping that carfax damage is a bent rim not some suspension work or something along them lines that is gonna come back and kill me in a couple months.. According to the Car Fax it did pass emissions after the wreck so it cant be that bad.
im going to the dealer tomorrow to work out a payment plan with the trade in of my firebird. I hate to trade it in because it was my secondary winter car, but we'll have to see tomorrow

I dont think Carfax will show anything that wasnt involved in a police report or repaired by a licensed repair shop, so if a curb was hit causing wheel damage and was never reported it may not show up on a carfax, sounds like a good deal though hope you enjoy what ever it is you get into.
