    Gears for a A4?

    I'm depating on 3.73's or 4.11's I know I wouls have to get a stall for both but which one would be better note the car is a dd?

    if you ever plan on getting a cam, a stall thats about 3500rpm is perfect.
    even if you dont get a stall, 3500 is good.

    In my opinion....that cam isn't a daily driver cam.
    Makes great power, great track times.

    But it is horrible on mileage. Not best for a daily driver with an auto.

    Something like a 228/228 would be better. 3800 stall.

    oh sorry I thought you meant bad mileage meaning that it would'nt hold up for say no more that 5000 miles

    Gas mileage.
    Motor would be fine, but you would need a good stout valvespring and hardened pushrods for any cam. Bigger the cam, the better the valvespring has to be.
    I would recommend Manley dual springs for that cam.
