    Gas Mileage

I hope this is not a re-thread. I couldn't find anything on it

I was wondering what people usually gas mileage-wise in their TAs and what changes if any you see with a change in wheels/tires.

With stock tires I was getting avg 17 city, 22 highway
Now with the new wheels/tires listed at the end of my sig I am getting 15 city, 18 highway. Now, I've only had them on for a few weeks, so I know this may not be exactly statistically significant... that being said I was wondering what you all are getting with your wheel/tire or other mods.

My old '98 TA got 20-22 in town, 29 hwy with 225,000 miles on it, stock manifolds, TSP rumbler cat back, 17" wheels.

Haven't tested highway on my '99 TA but getting consistent 22-23 in town.

We have had our car for over a year now... and I have never bothered to check the mileage. Probably should do that next time we go on a road trip with it.

With that car though, I don't care what it gets for mileage. I wouldn't have built it the way I did if it mattered.

    Although....20MPG on the highway isn't bad at all....for it's all motor 531RWHP.

That highway MPG is really bad, that would be like if you never used 5th or 6th gear. I get 16-17 city, 26-28 highway, not tuned yet. My LT and ORY got me another 1.5 highway MPG. I'm hoping a tune this late winter will result in another 1-2 MPG highway along with more power. I'm going to get a mail order tune by Frost. I've always heard great results from people here, in regards to his tuning.
