    Gas milage on stock ws6?

Well, what's everybody experiencing out there on gas milage on their ws6 as compared to a reg. T/A..with the national average getting close to $4.00 per galon by the end of the summer obviously this is a concern.

Compared to a regular T/A it should be almost exactly the same. When I just had no cats and exhaust I got 27.x mpg on the highway. Can't tell you city, as I never checked that when I lived in Jacksonville.

    Are you kidding?
I get 27mpg hwy and 18 city. If you drive it like a reg car you get reg efficiency...u need to learn how to use the tq to your advantage.

Here in Canada we are paying way over $5/gal for regular unleaded and even more for premium and super premium, however our gallons are slightly larger than in the US.

My WS6 makes great mileage. The window sticker states 31hwy 22city and I can verify I am making at least that but I am driving it very moderately and it only has about 8000 miles.

i get about 300 miles to a full tank. if you divide that by the number of gallons the car can hold which is 16 then its about 18 mpg

I average about 23.5 with my stock A4, 2.73 gears.

As a general rule, A4 will get worse mileage than the M6.

If you drive with a light foot, and don't do too much stop and go city driving, you can get decent mileage with these cars.

Definitely go M6 if fuel mileage is a big concern.

I also seemed to get high 20's to low 30's in my 2002 Z28 with 60k miles.

My new 2002 WS6 does not have as good mileage yet, but it still has some time as it only has 8000 miles.

All vehicles should start to get better gas milage as all the seals and gaskets settle in and break in.

That is damn good gas mileage if you ask me, for a 3600lb vehicle with some balls.

If you purchase my LS1-Edit listed in my sig below you can even run a bit leaner to save more. Or tune for E-85 and save there. LOL JUST THOUGHT I'D MIGHT AS WELL THROW THIS IN THE MIX.

Went on vacation to South Carolina and back got 26.7 mpg. I thought that was pretty good. It's alot better than our 4-Runner 16mpg & our sts Cadillac 22mpg. It's not bad for a car to get 25-28mpg and go 150mph.

According to the window sticker on C5's between the A4 & M6, the M6 get 1 more mpg.

In reality though, the M6's do better than that. Look at the numbers that people post on here. It has alot to do with driving habbits also.
