you have to have the adapters to make it work. the easiest way to connect it is at the fuel rail. there is a fuel port connection on the Driver's side portion of the fuel rail.

99% sure that it is an Autometer that I ordered from Summit or Jeg's.

Just a note to the OP: To install the sender, you have to remove the valve from the end of the fuel rail or the gauge will not work. It is done in the same fashion as removing a tire valve from a valve stem.

Are you installing an electronic one like shown with a sender? Or one which will just stay in the engine bay?

I have an old one that I just might add to the engine bay to keep watch on pressure when manually throttling the engine.

Im sure he's talking about the ones that go in the engine bay. Those are liquid filled. Its a simple install you just need the right adapter. Some of them are direct fit.

i dont know the size of the port at the fuel rail. i can suggest to take off the plastic cap that screws on it and go to a hardware store and find an adapter. With the cap im sure they can help you figure out the right size adapter you need. take the gauge with you as well.

it actually came with an elbow and an adaptor but the adaptor needs to plunge the pin in on the valve to release the pressure and it doesnt

You can get liquid filled guages for inside too..
