    Fuel injector question

I was just wondering, I am upgrading my injectors up to 42lb from the 26 I am pretty much pushing the 26's past they 80% mark and I don't want one to up and fail on me driving down the road. That being said when I replace them will they run fine swapped for that short time until I can get it tuned or should I drive it up as it is then swap them at the dyno and tune it? I looked through all the other threads about it and never found an answer about it so I figured I would ask.

What other mods have you done to the car. Just upgrading the injectors will not do very much for performance.
My ride is a 2002 Camaro SS SLP #3296 with 30k, LTH, 3" Y, CME, Frost tune, K&N, ported TB, Blackwing lid, Bellows, MSD, Denso Iridium, and 85mm MAF, Bilsteins, Eibach springs, SLP strut brace, Adj. Panhard, TA Girdle, UMI, Pro 5.0, Nitto NT555
My wife has a 2004 GTO with the rare SAP, 18" wheels, K&N Cold Air System, MSD, Ported TB, Frost tune, Denso Iridium, Flowmaster cat-back, 3200 Yank, 75k

I got a Torquer V3 camshaft. 231/234 .643/.598 111°LSA decently ported ls1 heads. Headers and 3" exhaust all the way back, with my tune though I hit 85% load on the current injectors, it's not really a matter of power gains rather than reliability

Injectors that size over stock will not run properly without a tune. I would drive the car to where ever you are getting it tuned and swap them on after they get it all hooked up and everything.

You will need to tune your ride asap. You are correct in upgrading to larger injectors because running lean will kill your motor. Sounds like a fast ride.

I was told by Frost if changing injectors NOT TO RUN IT with the new injectors until the tune is in place for them
