    FREE Mods

So i was hoping to get a list of free mods started up with everyone compiling to the list and giving their inputs. I'll start off with a few and see where it goes from there. And anyone who cares to add just jump right in...

*porting throttle body/MAF vs replacing it

*removing the screen from the MAF. You can just carefully reach in, making sure not to touch the wires, and "pop" it out.

*removing the plastic "baffle" from the inside of the nose of the ram air hood by drilling out the rivets and pulling it out. This is supposed to give you a more direct airflow.

*cutting holes in the bottom of your stock airbox to help increase breathing capability. (may put a damper on passing water ingestion testing)

Not free, but cheap - the throttle body bypass, might cost no more then 7$

Yeah install university has a bunch of great stuff. I've done the EGR and AIR removal. I will be doing the Throttle body bypass soon. I live in Miami so cold weather is not an issue.

EGR removal or just trimming the pipe that goes into the throttle body? if you do a complete removal would it fail emissions?

Does anybody have this done with a boosted car? http://www.installuniversity.com/ins...afapalooza.htm

Do you think the wires would hold up in a boosted car?
