A few years ago I was able to find all kinds of free mods for these cars when I had my 2000 Z28. Now I cant find much of anything. One of the mods im looking for is the fan switch mod. As now I see slp sells you a 70 dollar kit for this lol. I can do it myself if I can find that mod again.

it runs one hose from the radiator to the other side of the TB.. then you have to block off one opening.. look at the pic...

by doing all the free mods you should see about a 5-10rwhp gain.. if you consider ported TB a free mod then you could see somewhere between a 7-13rwhp gain.. not bad for being free..

yes, you are keeping the air that is coming in from the TB cooler instead of letting it get warmed up.. thus keeping you engine cooler, thus making more power..

dude.. its the easiest thing ever... seriously..

take the hose coming off the radiator going to the TB up to autozone or a local parts store.. tell them you need about 2-3 feet of the same size...

run the new hose from the existing spot where the old hose was and skip the first inlet it ran to and run it to the very last inlet all the way to the right past the TB..

so you will have two places to block off right by the throttle body (get the little rubber nipples from the parts store while you are there (look for about what size you need before you go))
and you will have one hose running from the radiator to the far side of the TB..

just go out and look at it man.. it is kind of self explanatory.. tb BYPASS mod..

its painted black, the pic isnt that great. But I like it. It was done to show off the nostrils, but it also kinda looks like a bird.

Heres the best I could do. I have a different set up now. But its nearly the same. I did it this way just to get my car running after the FAST92 install.
