found a new ws6
but the lid on it has the K&N AIR Breather Filter plus slp lid
K&N AIR Breather Filter what is this for?
00-02 LS1 K&N AIR Breather Filter | WS6store.com
on my old one i had 00-02 LS1 SLP Air Box Lid and the pipe was connected to the lid not the air breather filter

would it cause this code and if so can i just switch it to my old set up and if i dont will it cause any thing to go wrong.
P0410 - Secondary Air Injection System
what is the point of this?

I've had mine set up both ways and never threw a code. The filter is for the air pump hose if you don't have it hooked up to the lid.

Some lids don't have provisions for the air system. And if you don't use a lid, such as the K&N cold are setup, then the filter just keeps the air pump from sucking in any crap
You are fine going to your old setup

Mileage is nice on the SS but both look nice. Price seems high on both but it may just be your area

Suspension is basically the same for the two, Trans Ams do have a more comfortable seat for most people. Power lumbar and bolsters are nice but not a deal breaker for me. If they are both within distance of you i'd check them both out, otherwise i'd want more pics of the SS before i made a decision.

i drove the ws6 and it was much nicer then the one i just sold but door panels cracked but it was like new the guy put it on a lift and everything was so clean you could eat of it lol
also do the door panels crack on them like the trans am?
i can't find any info on it so it makes me think they don't.

Cracked door panel on is only on trans ams. If it really was that nice of a car and it's just the door panel that bothers you i'd go for it. Check the SS out as well but the WS6 sounds like a keeper. If they both look and run good it comes down to what you prefer.
