Foglight mod?
Hey yet another question from me.
I was wondering if there was any way to make the large fog lights on 98+ Trans ams brighter? like, headlight high beam bright? thought maybe a jeep headlight would fit or somethin, but those barn doors for headlights cant be good for aero. thinkin for late night competition if u kno wat i mean. switch on the fogs and close the doors.
thanks!

Just go to the hid kits and make sure you get the 880 bulbs that's what our cars use.

I got the same kit, definately brighter than stock. And you are able to aim them, the adjustment screw is on the top if you are looking directly at it.
Here are some pics of my set-up. I also have the BLS low beam projector HIDs

thanks, yea I agree the price is high...but I justified it by saying that the price will only go higher in the future...haha.
I have seen many ppl do the HID conversion with halogen housings, it looks nice (way better than the stock yellowish lights), but I just didn't like how it scattered the light.

only cost me like $130 or so to do my low beams for the lenses and hid kit. Well worth it

And another question, whats y'alls opinion on the 97- tails? i like the way they lightup better than the honeycombs? and also, is anyone elses left tailight darker than the right?not the bulbs, but the opacity of the housing itself? seen it on a few other pontiacs of ranging models and years. weird.

Check aftermarket companies like certifit.com for light replacements. there are several other companies that sell same product and price.
HID's in fogs make a huge difference especially if you do the low beam as well
