I agree, LM is my fav on stock setup although an open Borla is a close 2nd. For car with headers+ory, the Magniflow sounds better.

It's best to swap out the system, but yeah, you can do the muffler only. I did that with Too Fast.

I have the SLP LM/1 on my stock WS6/6M and think the LM is the only way to go. It's loud when you first start it cold but mellows out around town as long as you don't rev the shit out of it. It really wails though at around 2000-3000 rpms. It also sets off a lot of ricer car alarms, definately worth it just for that fact alone!!

when you get headers and a y-pipe it sounds terrible.

I will never deal with SLP again.
    Ever.

I cut my SLP crap off my previous car....you can tell why by listening to it.

Then their customer service dicked me around on a part. Guy called me a liar on the phone. Yeah....I will take my money to a good shop. Been doing so for 5+ years now.

I think if I had extra money to waste I would just buy a brand new magnaflow cat back and weld a cut out into that. With it open the sound level would probably be compared to loud mouth, then closed it would be back to stock.

First time (and likely the last) I have ever heard that....

Dump truck sound seems reserved for the loudmouth.

You just have to pick the sounds you like and go with it. As you can see from this thread, just about everyone has their own favorite,,,hardly any two alike.
