    Fitted WS9 Outlaw Hood

Well, I swung through the body shop yesterday and they have my hood fitted to the car. All that is left is some more prep and then to the paint. I gotta say - these hoods look killer. Whats your guys take on the WS9 Outlaw on our TA's? Oh, and for those who know what I am talking about, there are the 2 small heat extractor vents with originally black grills/screens over them. Should I go ahead and leave those black or spray over them with the red?

My friend painted them white. They look sick. Dont worry about the paint not comming off. It will everytime u wash the car or it gets really hot and chips off. If u dont wanna take a risk, just buy 2 seperate ones and paint those.

I say leave them black or have them painted gloss black. If that's a new hood you should drive it around or have it stressed for stress cracks don't show up in the paint later.

We baked it under the heat lamps and the guys at the shop said they could see the hood settling in. This should help to prevent any lines from showing up down the road-but with these fiberglass hoods-you cant prevent everything. As for painting the grills, I think you guys are referring to the ones on the front of the hood, I was talking about the permanently molded in grilles for the 2 heat extractors on the side of the WS9.

I think they'd look best black -not the same color as the hood.
