firehawk hood installed!!!new pics inside
took a friend & i `bout alittle over an hour to install,& i luvs the resultsthe firehawk is undoubtably my fav ram air hood on the market..very sleek & sexy lines,aggressive wide open nostrils in front,heat extractors just beautifull.so lmk what ya`ll think (please click on pics)Attachment 13700

nice hood.. i also like the bumper you got. is it the law out there to have your license plate to show in the front like that or personal choice. and where did u find a clear trans am plate like that

thanx 02trans,yeah in ohio its the law to display the front plate..i did so for a few months using a clear cover from afterthoughtsauto.com,but since my formula isnt driven daily i switched back to the stock gm license plate cover,ill take my chances

Do you use the original air box for that hood, or do you have to use an aftermarket air box. Also where did you buy it?

firehawk hood uses factory airbox(im currently using the SLP flowpac cai package)i bought it off ebay

Good choice, you didn't skimp and go for the cheesy aftermarket knock off hood. You can always tell the difference between the actual firehawk hood and a knock off by the fit and finish.

fitment looks pretty damn good in person..but it was tricky & hella stressfull cutting into my bumperglad to hear you fellas agree w/ the hood choice...headers are next
