It might not even be a firebird. It could be a formula. Regardless of what it is, the WS6 hood on these cars looks increadible. Shit do what you want to your car. Id do it on my formula hawk anytime

I don't think the neon in the snout looks too bad. It kind of gives the appearance of a fire under the hood.

I like the look, few local WS6 owners have done that with theirs and it adds to the aggressive look IMO.

No, I took the thread title from one of his other pics. I'll see if I can find his website again and post a link to it so you can see other pics. And no, I didn't change my mind to fit in. I think taking a v6 fire bird and putting the trans am wing and WS6 hood on is kind of ricer. Your claiming to have something you don't. Kind of like putting cobra badges on a GT or even V6 stang. But that didn't bother me as much as the neon under body lights.

The guy put a lot of work into his car! Hate on it if you want but I like it. I am not hardcore anti neon though. I am however anti V-6, even if it is turbo'ed.

To answer your original question, he did it because he likes it and so do others. But you can never make everyone happy.
