Firebird Alternator
So my car was not charging so I went to pull the alternator out and found out that the pigtail connector into the alternator was broke off its wire. I thought it was strange that it was only a single wire in the 4 wire plug, and it was such a small gauge wire. I went to NAPA and they wanted $45 for the plug to attach to the wire. Anyone got a recommendation if I can find one cheaper? And what is it that the real thin wire does? Will I have to replace is or can I vampire another wire on it to get the clip to reach the alternator?
Thanks
