firebird = thunderbird? =[
Anybody ever called your or a friend's, firebird a thunderbird? As I was getting off the subway to go to college in the morning, some lady handing out some flyers say ooo, a thunderbird, as I walked passed her wearing a firebird hoodie( has a big firebird logo on the front and in the back)

Overpriced, better, and smarter
Screw chevy vs ford. We're better than both! That's why ford doesn't even try messing with us!
haha, j/k my bowtied brethren, we love you!
I got something similar once at a redlight. Guy tells me from his drivers window: "Is that an SS?" I tell him its a transam, not a camaro, he still asks me "is it an ss"... I tell him its a ws6 not an ss.... "so its not an ss"...... sigh, light turns green and I quickly leave

I've gotten the "Is that one of the new corvettes?"
Also, them: "What year is that", me: "99", them: "I woulda swarn that was an 08 or 09" me: "They stopped making them in 02" them: Dumbfounded "That looks amazing for a 99"
I generally try to correct people when they get it wrong.

Sadly I dont even get too many compliments on my car. In my area if it didnt caust over 100k its nothing special. Wait till I have LTs an e-cutout and H/C then we'll see whos special!
If someone does get it wrong I make it a point to correct them.

I peeled out of my school parking lot just showing off to one of the administrators.
The next day that administrator says Mr. Oconnell (my principal) called him on the walkie talkie and said, "who's that kid with the camaro?" After that my parking pass was pulled for 2 weeks, just got it back today

A while back, just after I bought my TA, I drove it over to jiffy lube to get new oil, and when they finished, they old me that my "camaro" was all set. Another worker comes over to me and tells me that the "4.7L" in my car is mean, he used to have one. Needless to say I never went back.

I hate ignorant people. Had my car called a camaro, told me that the pistons are actually wedge shaped and don't compress to the cylhead at a 90° angle. I was like 'WTF? stop talking.'
