Finally ordered some front shocks
Well i finally decided to order my other front Bilstein shock MSD spark plug wires and a set of TR-55 plugs.. I bought one shock awhile back and never ordered the other one. Ill probably install them sunday but if i have time tomorrow ill do the shocks tomorrow too. I have shocks on the rear but the fronts are still stock and ive never replaced the fronts before.. Im pretty sure its a little harder than the rear but is there anything i should look out for or remember while im installing them.

I finished the passanger side at midnight on saturday night and finished the other side around 1 on sunday.... What a pain in my ass it was! The shocks ride great though, a lot better than the blown out stock ones that i had... I definitely would recommend having someone help you out. I did one side by myself and it took twice as long compared to having my dad help me. I read the Write up on LS1howto and the only thing it left out is how much of a pain in the ass it is to get the rusted bolt off the top of the shock.... Both sides were rusted and we used a dremel to cut it off... It was definitely one of the harder things ive done so far. There isnt many steps or many things to take off but it was kind of a pain to do by yourself..

Even when it's a PITA to do, you still have the satisfaction of knowing that you did it yourself and that it was properly completed.

I know what you mean man! Went through the same thing few weeks ago! It's a pain in the culo.
Shop wanted to charge me 300 for just shocks and springs.
$500 with other parts I had.
I spent 60 on tools but at the end was worth it.
I paid the shop to swap the new shock/spring they charged me $30 for that it took them almost 3 hours on both thZnks to that rusted nut!
Good job man.
