Finally after 10 years!
After 10years of drooling and 5 years of looking on autotrader and ebay, I finally purchased my Trans am! I found it on autotrader, 2002 SOM M6 (sorry pics are not the best):

$17,750. It had 53,899 miles on it. In fact I think its still listed on autotrader. The mileage was a little high for me but I have been stalling for so long and figured if I wait too long they will all be ragged out. The ASC# is 10266. Now what exactly does that mean?

Very nice. I like Sunset also. One thing that would look really good on that color is the white racing stripe set. Consider a white 4th Gen bird logo for the back window. I love that look.

I agree. I wouldn't add stripes to mine because I don't have a raised hood and I think I have enough already. Depends really what is being added and how much.

Did you see this one on autotrader 13k miles for 16.9k says has R-title though

Rebuilt title kill the value and the resale of a vehicle. To the OP nice car looks good.

very nice car.... and to the one on auto trader, im not scared of a rebuilt title...can be as little as rear ended or the person rear ended someone else....my 98 gtx has a rebuild title and have never ever had an issue with it.
and for the miles on ur SOM...damn i wish mine had that low of miles...miles are another thing idc about in a pontiac/ GM car
