    Finally

They came in. NGK TR55IX Iridium plugs w/ MSD 8.5mm super conductor wires. Letting the car cool and am gonna do the drivers side first. Ill do the passanger side tommorow because i have to study later on. By the way did any1 use those little number markers that came with the wires, to show which wire is in which plug #?

I wouldn't bother with the number markers. I bought different wires and they didn't come with them anyway. What were those plugs gapped at out of the box?

Anybody have ANY advice on changing them. I have the 5/8 socket and i can get it to fit, but i dont have room to turn it. Do u think a ratchet will work?

Remove the coil packs and it gives you a lot more room to maneuver.

Drivers side shouldn't be a problem at all, passenger side is another story - remove air tube and coil pack. If this is your first time see www.installuniversity.com for pointers.

Oh wait, think '98 coils are mounted a little different? Site may still help you though.

I use a socket with a hex end and put a wrench on that

#8 from underneath is the easiest way to go, well worth the time to put it on stands, the rest of mine came out with a 3/8" drive ratchet w/ 3" extenstion and spark plug socket(fairly easily). It was more difficult getting them back in with my headers on, so if you have headers you will have a harder time. I dont know what the coil packs look like on yours but it helped tremendously taking them off for my 2001

98 have individual coil packs. I only got 2 out so far, i had exams this week. Took about 10 minutes to get 2 off. Ill do another 2 tommorow, or maybe more. My friend has this HUGE extension and its a peice of cake with it. Thing is i have to wait for him to get out, cuz i have NO MORE EXAMS!!

just take your time and like everyone said #8 from the bottom. I've noticed if I start getting impatient it takes twice as long. BTW I have the same setup. great plugs and wires!
