Navy Blue Metallic- 2000 T/A Firehawk M6
Finally!!!!!!
talk about a long journey come to an end! After nearly two years looking and well over 1 year on these boards I have finally come to own my very own F-body. The pic in my avatar is my car.
I am now the proud owner of the 2000 TransAm SLP Firehawk #0036 NBM 6spd. according to SLP only 10 NBM hawks were built with the 6spd and SLP spoiler. I'm sure it can be drilled down further by the rims and mats and cover and lube package but 1 of 10 is rare as it is!!!!!
The car has 47,600 miles and has never been in an accident. For the last three years it was in the collection of a gentleman who only put about 500 miles on the car in that time yet managed to wax it 3 times.
The car is 100% stock and in no way modified so far i'm thinking of keeping it pretty close to that! the future may hold a lid a strut tower bar and subframe connectors.
I wanted to attend Carlisle but am not sure I can make it. It's going to be hot and from sitting so long the AC needs some work. T-tops alone will not a cool car make.
Well thats about all i can think off of the top of my head. I'm loving every mile so far the looks i get are priceless and the driving experience was worth every penny!

Thanks all. The hood is a stock firehawk hood. right now the car is 100% as it left the factory. the pic in my avatar is the car as it looked... oh about 700 ago. although those 700 miles were also over 3 years. the owner before last put pics up on firehawkowners.com you can find the pics of the car at http://www.firehawkowners.com/galler...awk/2000/0036/ yes it has what some have called the "ugly" spoiler.... it honestly looks much better in person and from wanting to change it i think i'm keeping it now.
Edit: btw.... I paid less than you would think for it. Although in my opinion the price was fair.... just less than i see a lot of people asking for similar cars ;-)

Navy Blue Metallic- 2000 T/A Firehawk M6
my two probs with pa are that my AC prob won't be charged and its raining every day here in NY.... i won't be able to get the car clean and come out there.... kinda hard to wash a car in the rain. Even though among a sea of 1000 f-bods i'd prob be the only NBM 2000 hawk i'd still hate to show up all muddy.... ewwww

The spoiler I was very iffy on until I saw it in person... Something about that SLP design just isn't very photogenic. I think my car is perfect just the way it is. Of course should the spoiler start to crack i'd likely be up a creek...
For those that didn't see the link the first time and are still looking for pics I'll repost the link. The name on the page is not mine. It's a previous owner. Again these photos were taken 700 miles ago and back in 2006. The car looks no different today thanks to a wonderful collector that kept this gem in a garage and only drove it around the block a few times.

I will never hope to have a camera that good or the skills to get some of those shots. Just not much of a photographer myself.
