This is a discussion on Fav color on WS6 non aniversary. within the Firebird / WS6 forums, part of the Vehicle Specific category; Over 500HP...anything over 500HP and 500TQ the rearend and driveline wont handle it....

    Over 500HP...anything over 500HP and 500TQ the rearend and driveline wont handle it.

    So either way, if I TC'd or SC'd after a head/cam, I would still need to replace the rearend and driveline?

    I kind of figured that. I mean you are only 20. I dont make enough, and I assumed that you didnt either. So, just save up for head and cam swap. Do it yourself. (on LS1howto.com it will tell you everything that you need to do to do the swap yourself) Then sell the old heads and cam and get some of it back. You should end up with 420RWHP (I am guessing on this though) You will be over 400.

    Yeah, Id love to install a cam and even heads myself, just to learn all about it. Ending up with 400+ hp wouldent hurt either. LOL.

    Supercharging without heads/cam would make well over 400hp but alot of money $5000 plus. I'd definitely go with the head/cam before charging.
