FAST LSX intake manifold (90mm) ?

I have done almost everything to get more air flowing to my engine, and living in Colorado every bit counts, and now I was looking to add the FAST LSX intake dose anyone know where I might be able to get one for a good price, and would it be worth it ? Thanks

well what other mods do you have? if your car is basically stock its not worth the cash for the manifold. you have a 98 so you have the ls1 manifold if you upgrade to the ls6 manifold you will get around 15 rwhp and that about the same for all the others but the 90mm is overkill on a basically stock wait until you get a blower or cam and head package to put an intake on there.

Yeah I have been hearing that the LS6 manifold would be the best bet for now, my current mods are Hypertek 160', underdrive pullies, Slp cold air induction, K&N, Lid, Bellow, and 85mm MAF, right now im swaping the hood out with the ram air, and within in this month im putting on the Borla cat back system.

Doesn't LS6 intake give you 5 more hp? The LSX manifold will give about 20, according to thier ad, over the LS1 intake.
If it doesn't have a turbo or a V8, it doesn't belong on the road.

Hey guys look it came back from the shop! I still need a bigger wing though...

For those mods, I would recommend the LS6 intake.
UNLESS you plan on going BIG later.

yeah the ls6 intake is worth about 15. with the mods you have definately do not put a fast lsx manifold on there. wait until you get a blower/turbo or head and cam. but if you come across an ls6 maifold it will be flat in the area between the ports not curved like the ls1. but ie seen the ls6 manifolds around 550.

well i havent really looked for but i just remember the price i saw on lmperformance.com and i think it was the slp one or something but i have some info for yall

    jan 2006 HOTROD 530 horse ls1

    base line:
stock gm ls1 crate motor and gm pcm
stock 99 camaro exhause catted y no muffler
stock air box maf and a 99 ls1 manifold

    375.1 ld-ft @4500
    366.1 hp @5700

    test 2
fast lsx 78 mm throttle body and manifold
    85 mm granateli MAF
    stock exhaust no muffler

    385.3 lb-ft@4700
    398.0 hp @5900

this was all done on an engine dyno so its a 32 hp and 10 lb-ft at the crank
HOTROD says typical street price for the fast induction parts $1,534.62 so if yo ask me thats not worth it until you get the head/cam or forced induction
