Exhaust Equasion?? n Header Q's
right now i have slp loudmouth cat back exhaust... not true duals and the slp muffler is pretty much nothing but a straight pipe..sounds good tho..
i want to add some longtube headers and get rid of my cats...
if i get rid of my cats after i get the headers will having the the same exhaust provide enough back pressure for my car, the muffler isnt providing any but will having the single to dual split (what i have now) help??
also reccomendations on headers that wont brake the bank but are still worth a shit..have had pacesetters reccomended?
thanks to all..

You don't need backpressure. Less backpressure = more power. Your car will adjust and run fine without cats. It will be louder, and the fumes will smell worse. So far as headers, I used coated Pacesetters. There are better headers out there, but you'll have to pay for them. QTPs dyno better than anything else I've seen. Kooks are pretty popular too.

pacesetter longtubes and texas speed true duals. its the best way to go if you are on a budget.
