Hmmm. Really evry1 will tell you diff..
Id go, pacesetter headers long tube; H pipe with magnaflow cat convertor; then into a borla box.
Or electric cutout! Goto youtube, look up all kinds of setups on ls1's.. They all sound sexy

Exhaust is really a matter of personal preference. Most people's opinions will be different. I personally like how the SLP Loudmouth II sounded on my stock Camaro SS. By stock, I mean stock manifolds. It had a really nice, deep rumble. However, if you plan to upgrade the manifolds to long tube headers, this drastically changes the sound and a different exhaust (catback) is probably preferred.
Most people here like how the Magnaflow sounds coupled with headers and cats. Not too loud at idle and cruising speeds, but once you hit the loud pedal you really hear it. This coupled with an electric cut-out gives you the best of both worlds.

im fond of true duals personally but true duals on a trans am only looks good out the back, which sadly costs more for a TA then a camaro.

I really like the way my Magnaflow sounds. I'm running Pacesetter LT's and no cats. As started before, though, everybody has their own opinion on what's best, so decide what works for you and go for it.

you'd be better of seeing if Hooker makes a ORY or getting a Pacesetter ORY, anything but a SLP ORY.
They have one of the worse reputations in regards to fitment and placement.
Good choice on getting ceramic coated.

For what it's worth, I run the Magnaflow Cat Back, Quad Tips. It's very mellow at low throttle settings.
Today I was just fooling around with two guys that have 430 and 458 Ferrari's. They claimed that when I would go by them at WOT the sound was fabulous. Coming from these guys, I considered that a good endorsement. Also at 80 mph I'm turning 2500 rpm and the sound is solid and muscular but not intrusive on a long drive.Magnaflow Quad Tip, Lid, SBellow

Ordered TSP 1 7/8 headers and y-pipe the other day. Already have magnaflow catback on the car. Cant wait but unfortunately the y-pipe is on back order.

If your just looking for a catback, which will free up little exhaust and give you a new tone, magnaflow is the most popular on this site. They have 2 different setups, single tip and quad tip. Single is about $400 and the quad is about $750. Performance is the same, just a matter of opinion on what looks better. Thumb through the external engine section of the site and loom at the exhaust setup thread.
SLP is the second most popular, but is alittle louder. That's all personal preference what sounds better, but I think the magnaflow is a better product. The exhaust thread also has sound clips, which don't portray the exact sound, but will give you a good idea.
