Exhaust
I have been waiting for 2 years to buy an exhaust and finally ill be getting one as well as a tune up. Im very intrested in the bassani true dual exhaust system for the 00-02. Ive heard mixed reviews on it some have problems with the fitment issue some people say fit like a glove. The system starts after the cat convertors. I was planning on also getting headers within the year and wanted to no if for the people who do own the system if they had to make any mods to the system to get the headers to fit. There is also the option of a y pipe and a catback but needs to be under 1k the problem with that though is i see it sensless to own a true dual exhaust car that merges into a single pipe then back into dual piping i dont no the thought bothers me. Anyway what do you guys think? any input would be very helpfull thanks.

One of our mods on here, Mrr23 runs that system. Shoot him a PM about his thoughts on it.

I have the stainless tru duals on my 02 without headers and love it. The install was easy and the fit was great. Running headers is another story with this system. long tubes are the best way to go but require the bassani system to be cut back to fit the headers. There is a post showing it done if you search the site. I found ls1sounds.com to be very helpful for me to decide on a system.
