From the hood to the wheels, to the rear hatch, plus the painting, that guy spent a lot of money on that car... too bad he'll never see it again..... best to keep it. They make great daily drivers. My "beater" is a nice Firebird... 23 mpg!

that guy must have ran low one cash u didnt get the t/a bumber and he keep the stock seets.... some one call him and ask if the lil red light works on the dash too , the trans am blinked while the firebird done work at all

It would be cool if he was selling it for $7K to put on some NOS. One guy at the track did this to his V6 Firebird and easily pulled 11.70's to everyone's surprise. What a sleeper it was. Laugh all you want .... It's got some potiental even in that form. Price is way too high though.

the question isn't about potential, it's about why he is calling it a Trans Am when it clearly is NOT a Trans Am.

It's clearly a Firebird with the Sport Appearance Pkg (different grond effects then a T/A) a Trans Am Spoiler a WS6 Hood and Speedline Wheels.

Same here with my 6spd Formula if you use the skip shift advice. My skip shift gate is eliminated so I have to do the 1-4th shift myself. It's kinda cool when you only have to shift once between lights in town. That if the traffic gets up and goes cause you have to have the momentum before the shift or you'll bog em down.

Filled up last night with my A4 Z28 and it was 24.24 (yes just the inverse!). Most of the time its mid 23s to hi 25s depending on how much highway driving.

Did any stock V6 cars come with the ram air hood? For some reason I remember seeing a couple.

Depends if he got in an accident he may have just replaced the parts to give it a better look. I could build a fake TA cheap being a painter. I can get a aftermarket WS6 hood, hatch w/ spoiler, bumpers and sides for about a grand or little more and a couple hundred for some.paint. Especially if you can find a leather v6. Even easier would be to do it to a V6 vert since it has a plain spoiler. Feel bad if.some.poor sucker doesn't know and over pays. Like this guy that put 4x4 badges on his truck and the dealer gave.him trade in for a 4 wheel drive. Was funny to me and I got paid to remove all the 4x4 deals and emblems. Gotta watch dealers and.people everyone selling a car seems shady to me. I wouldn't even trust dealerships I did work for.
