    Exclamation Event of the Year!!

Hello everybody. Just stopping by to let everyone know that this year the Central Indiana Camaro Club (CICC), along with General Motors is hosting a huge event in Indianapolis. We are hoping to see at least 1000 cars. This is the event that will be replacing the Bowling Green F-Body Gathering this year.

Here is a link from another board from Scott Settlemire, as well as a direct link to the event from the CICC. Thanks for looking, and we hope to see you all there. I will try and get back in here and reply to any questions anyone has, but we are trying to keep up with alot of msg boards getting the word out! http://www.camaroz28.com/forums/showthread.php?t=561301

Yes, it will be held inside of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The host hotel is the Holiday Inn North at the Pyramids, with also has in indoor waterpark (extra cost), but they have given us discounted rooms of over 50% off regular rates.

We already have people from Florida, Canada, and several other places far and wide who have booked rooms. We are just starting to get the word out, but this should be BIG!!

The only additional cost we can foresee is the Saturday night Banquet. We are trying to finalize the menu and costs, and then official registration will open up. The banquet dinner is optional, so you can attend for the $40 or $50 fee per vehicle, or just show up and buy a museum ticket for $3 and walk around/hangout all day.

    6. GM "Ride and Drive" on the F1 and Motocross GP course.
    7. Concert, Banquet, Auctions, Prizes, Give aways, etc.

Im in! Its worth the 10 hour drive and $40 just to take a lap of the track and get a picture of my trans am at the bricks. Indy is a great place to go, went and saw the brickyard 400 last year. The museum is really cool.

You Pontiac guys are showing up the Chevy guys. I have not received even 1 response on the Camaro/SS board!! You guys are gonna make us look bad!!! That's okay.........We just want to see lots of them, either way!!

One important thing I failed to mention is that the CICC is a Non-Profit Organization, so all of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Riley Hospital for Children. Some people close to Indiana may be familiar, but if you are not it is a GREAT childrens hospital here in Indpls., and they help kids from all over the world there. It is a wonderful place and we are proud to donate to them.

Thanks everybody!! Hit me up if you have any questions and I will do my best to get you whatever info you need to know!!
