    engine swap

    Hey i'm swaping engine and i guess by misstake the company that i bought complete motor from for my 98 ws6 sended me a vette motor and mechacic is telling me that he has to swap intake manifold oil pan and crank sensor from my old engine and maybe any one else knows of any other difference that i have to deal with??

    I think that's all that has to be swapped. Maybe the crank reluctor ring too? I may be wrong.

    if the company 'accidently' sent you the wrong motor they should resend the right one. just saying.

    make sure the motor they sent is for a '98, as ours are slightly different in layout of certain items.

    Screw all that shit and send it back for the right one unless it is a seriously better performing engine. Or have whoever sold you the engine swap out those correct parts

    oil pan, crank sensor is all. The injectors will be 28#. However that is about it...are you using your original wiring harness or did the motor come with its own harness

    if it is pre 2005 then it is the right wheel 28 i believe. all gen IIIs are 28.

    correct...but the TB is all that needs to be replaced...not the whole intake.

    oh your exhaust manifolds will be different. I personally would send it back.
