I wondered about that, how does one find a place to do it?

Scrub shops, needle magic "At the mall", all have a pattern book you can look at.

Grant can do the headrest in any color you want, and as far as my headrest, had them a year now and not a single stinch is coming out, still perfect!

I don't think the issue is the monogram machines, its getting the design into the proper file format that is the issue, ya cant just make up designs on a monogram machine, its a file you feed into the machine, thus the conversion is the issue. Grant's work is awesome, when I wanted the SLP design their was about a week delay in getting the design converted to the correct format for his machine. It sounded like some one else did the conversion too, not him.

Alot of the machines have a "Clip Art" file if you will, and most include the bird, and "Formula" etc.... If the customer wants something simple, may be cheaper.... IDK.

Not knocking Grant at all, his work is excellent, just sayin'

I hear what your saying if it were a newer machine but I would bet since this is a side job situation and he has been doing this for several years (he has many old posts on ls1tech for these going back 3-4,5 yrs) its not state of the art and the other issue I would see is since the t/a bird is a gm logo I would suspect, I can't imagine that file being in there, Formula may be doable with some script font tweaks I imagine, it would be cool if you could buy an embroidery machine with an on board scanner, then you could do them all.

T/A Addicted, I got ahold of him and was able to place my order. I sent him an e-mail and he got back to me a day later.

Sf_gore21, the two headrests were 95.00 which includes return shipping. I'm not sure if Grant does floormats (not on his order form) but I would think he'd be capable of doing them. "Third shift studios" (TSS) does laser engraving and is a reputable dealer on here (in the process of ordering an engine bay dress up kit and have been really impressed with his willingness to work with me on custom designs). Grant (if he does floormats) would use stitching for the design. Depends on your preference.

Thanks! those Headrests are awesome! TSS Headrest and Floormats are nice too, but i like the embroidered VS the Engraving Look 95.00 buck is a affordable price. When i Order i will ask Grant if he Does Floormats. Thanks again
