    effin mice!

i parked my car for four days, get in it, fire it up and the heater system just REEKS of mouse piss. and i can hear the fan hittin stuff in there. four days is all it took the little bastards to fill my heater box

so i gotta get it all cleaned out, as i'm extremely allergic to mice. anyone else had this problem? where are they getting in there? is there a way to stop it from happening again?

My buddy had a mouse living in his 98 Z. He let it live in there, called it his pet. Kinda gross IMO, but good luck with your situation!

You can pick up an electronic rodent repeller. Plug it into an extension cord and lay it under the front of the car, it works fairly well. Better yet get some peppermint oil and cotton balls. Put a drop or two on the cotton ball and spread a few around the car, it works real well and smells better than mouse piss. I work on a farm and its what we use on our more driven vehicles. I use both methods on my TA since I only drive it about 3k miles a year.

The little buggers can get in through any hole. I had one get int o my truck one week end out camping ate all the sounds deadener off the interior panels. I think they get trough the heater box I bet.

Moth balls work great to, get the cedar sented ones and place them on plates in and round the car. I have them on each floor mat in the hatch, under the hood and in the tail pipes.
