Ebayer Firebird/Camaro CD Manuals
Some of you buddy poster in my thread in this forum know that I have had countless problems with the purchased of my used 2000 TA. I have invested a little here and there into it already. I felt that I needed a diagram manual, so I looked to EBAY and decided to go with a CD manual and print out as needed......
I paid $20 dollar for the CD PDF Manual. The scanned images sucks shit and the text is very fuzzy. The Ebay Seller is named: mustangstevemoney
With the item named: 1993-2002 FIREBIRD,TRANS AM,FORMULA CD PARTS MANUAL (120155040978)
If you are looking for a manual, don't buy it from this Dude. I'm $20 in the hole and have a worthless CD that does not help much in designating the detail parts.
Here is a sample of a diagram I took from his manual:
The seller does not have bad feedbacks from what he is selling.... I'm offstruck by that.
Anyone know where I can pick up a manual for a decent price?
Thanks good buddies,
Matthew

Heres the one I found for the Owners Manual, But I'm thinking you might need a service manual one.

Anyone know a site to get a free service manual?

The Selling Moral
You have came across it? Spill it on to me good buddy! I felt raped by this idiot who stole the images from the manual publishers and sold it as junk. No big deal for it was only $20 bucks, but it's the moral behind an honest sale that I'm concern about it!!!
Yeeeee haaaaa.. thanks man,
Matthew

What's the size on it?
What is the size on it and is it a PDF? The one purchase from the guy off of Ebay is the 1993 through 2002.
If you want man, I can drop $2 bucks in the mail and send it to you... and you can email me the PDF manual. How clear is your manual on the screen?
Thanks buddy! I checked out some service manual sites and they all want you to pay them a subscription, though they don't have any samples of what you are paying for. That in itself is worthless....
Thank you,
Matthew

Don't know of any free links to the service manual - it's huge, 3 volumes (3000+pages) and year specific. I got my helms for 1/2 price off their site a few years ago for $75, they put them on sale every so often. You might be able to find a used set on ebay.

DUDE... I looked into this. Here is what you bought. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=120150951982
Look at the pictures of what he was selling. Do they look clear? I think you got exactly what he told and displayed you were getting. Im not sticking up for this seller or you, but I dont think you can go runnin him down, when he showed you pics of what your getting. Maybe you didnt look closely at the auction? Rule of thumb is you get what you pay for.

Seller's Obligation
The diagrams he has on Ebay entailed better quality since it was shrunk I see. I'm just for warning those who may be on a look out for a service manual. If you are selling something, it's your obligation as the seller to state the defects of what you are selling.
I don't deny your statement of "you get what you paid." But let us say had I purchased a service manual that's $500 in price, it does not mean that it will also be in immaculate condition without any pages missing from it.
By the way, instead of purchasing a hardcopy for $40 bucks, I felt it was alright to purchase one on CD $20 to save room and space. Had I known how poor the quality is, it would have a been a different story.
Fair enough,
Matt

"Parts" manual and "service" manual are two different things. You can download a Camaro or Firebird "parts" manual from a link on LS2 if I remember correctly. I have a 93-02 Camaro "parts" manual CD I got off ebay years ago, it's OK but GM is constantly changing their part numbers.

Thank You......................
Thank you much Jacksonville........ the diagrams are not the best in the world, though it looks better than the one I purchase from Ebay. I searched engine for Hardcopy manuals but have not found any as of yet.
Correct you are about the manuals. I guess Parts Manual is good for someone tearing components apart... while the service manual assist in diagnose..... but as I know, the Service Manual also have the exploded diagrams don't they?

Yes, the GM factory service manual has diagrams - no part numbers though. Got mine new from www.helminc.com but like stated earlier you can sometimes find used ones on ebay, or even in the classifieds on the boards - remember they're year specific.

Rare Vehicle, Pricey Manual
Helminc certainly has the manual in stock for $135... the price will probably increase as the days roll by. Guess I should have purchased one of those manuals in 2001... probably would have been half the price back then. That's pretty pricey, thus I will hold out and look for one on Ebay.. all come the worse, I'll get it from Helm..... thanks a trillion.
