DSOM WS6 Convertible
Got an '01 DSOM WS6 convertible that I want to sell because I found another car. Bought the car from my brother who was the original owner. Car has 29k miles, auto, 6 disc CD, performance axle, and extended warrantee. The car is box stock and perfect except for two stone chips. My brother in-law wants to buy it, how much is a fair price. KBB lists it at about $16k, which sounds low to me. Any thoughts? Thanks.

rare color, ws6, low miles, awesome condition... I've seen asking prices (@ dealerships) from $20k - $24k, and the same cars at the auctions go from 14k - 16k. I paid $16k for my 00, non ws6 M6 with 39k miles.... so $18k sounds about right to me for yours.
just be careful when selling to family... it can get complicated sometimes

Took it out for a drive last night. Think I'll keep it a while longer unless someone makes an offer I can't refuse.

Bad time to sell a car like ours bro, IMHO. Economy is way down, may be a long haul too, hang on to you sweet ride, IMHO.
YMMVRegards,

I've decided to hang on to it indefinitely. I was offered $24k for it last year believe it or not. Didn't take it even though it was about 5-6k more than the book allows. I like the car and it's paid for, so until I find something else I really want, I'll hang on to it. So to answer deadman's question, it would have to be crazy high dollars and no one is going to offer that.
