White- 98 WS6 Ram Air Formula
Drifting
Ok, so ive seen numerous videos, clips, and movies about drifting and all i see are imports and the occasional viper and mustang. So, this leads me to the question:
Could Firebirds/WS6s/TAs/Firehawks possibly pull off a good drift to keep up with the tuners?
One of the big reasons i even ask this question is because i firmly believe that the long wheelbase and wide turns my WS6 has to take kind of hinder the drifting ability of my bird. So, any ideas?

Your bird will be much easier to drift. You may want to use a hard compound tire at first to learn the art. I learned to drift my sig car back in the late '70s (lots of fun).
current cars:
'02 WS6
'71 Cutlass SX/455
Bike:
YZ 450F
previous cars
another '71 Cutlass SX (sold it in '81)
'69 Camaro cp (sold it in '83)
'93 Z28 ("" '99)
'84 Z28 turned into IROC clone ("" '01)

Drifting for the sake of drifting is crap but learning to drift (powerslideing/counter steering) as a function of performance driving or to maintain control of your vehicle should be of paramount concern to all drivers.

I wouldn't compete in a drifting competition, but there is nothing like blowing your tires off while runnin' sideways...
