Has anyone converted the older style door panels to the newer ('02) style. The earlier ones are plentiful, non cracked and cheap, only problem is the inserts have to be changed out(melted plastic pins) and the colors are different. These look black but are actually charcol and dont match the '02. I think these are out of a '96 or '98.

Mine are cracked all the way thru, hence the article says replace them.
