Did any 02' WS6's come with single exhaust tips??

I found an extremely low miles 02' T/A WS6, all original.. Has the late year style Speedline rims.. However, It has single tip exhaust not the chrome dual tips???? Is that correct for a late year 02' Trans Am???

They have come with single tips but not the 02's. Maybe something custom? maybe one fell off. It should have it unless it isn't the correct year hes claiming

yup, only 98 ws6 had the single tip exhaust. what was the approx. diameter of it?
98 had the left side with 3.5 inch i believe. My car is down at my parent's right now so I cannot go measure it.

Mines a stocker and it only has single tips.

It is clearly an 02'.. The guy has all docs, including the build (broadcast) sheet, window sticker and owners manual...He is the original owner and I asked outright about the tips. He said no exhaust changes, all stock.. They also stick too far out to be that the tips fell off or were stolen... What gives??? They want top dollar, so I want to be sure.. If they are lying about tips, who knows about else is correct...

Are you asking if it is supposed to have one tip on either side or dual tips on either side? I think some people are getting confused judging by the responses. The '98 only had one exhaust tip on the left side. The following years had single exhaust tips on both sides.

His question stated "tips", but I see that it could be confusing from what is being posted. I'm not sure about the '98s, but the 2002 definitely has a single tip on each side. First time I looked at our car it threw me -- massive bumper cutouts... with a teeny tiny single tip on each side.

The door sticker, window sticker and build sheet all verify WS6... I was inquiring about the tips to verify if car could have came with them.. (I have a stock set off my 01' since the Corsa was installed sitting on the shelf)...I am just doing my "homework"... I did see several 02's at the T/A nats this year with single tips.. I just assumed they were catback systems, not stock... It doesn't bother me either way, I just am trying to assure honesty...

1998's are the only year that came with a single tip on one side.
All other years had a single tip on each side.


This is what comes stock on 1999 through 2002....basicly.
It had an aftermarket catback at the time, so it has larger tips than stock. But otherwise, that is what came on the car.

Thanks guys, I somehow got in my head that all 99-02's had dual exhaust tips
on EACH side of the car, not a single tip on each side.... But, that is what I wanted to hear.....confirms car is 100% stock, as stated by the seller.
