    Decal for my trans am

I want to get a phoenix put on my hood.

Before I buy it I had a question. Anyone have any input on decal verse paint. Paint I know is going to last longer than the decal which can only be expected to last about 5-6 years. That is ok with me. But anyone have any words of wisdom otherwise?

Well i had kinda the same question but really i just wanted to get an idea of what a painted Bird would look like. Does any one have a custom Paint Job with pics to see how it looks?

Paint will always look better. But, I think it's a good idea to go with vinyl first. That way if you don't love it, it comes right off.

I wasn't crazy about it when I first saw it but it grew on me. I wanna have something that noone else does and I've never seen one with that type of phoenix on it. Atleast in my neck of the woods.

It will look good on black.

I had red anniversary stripes on my car when I bought it. Wasn't sure I was crazy about them. But, I kept them on for a year before I took them off. That's the good thing about decals. They are not too expensive and come off easily if you decide against it.

Sometimes you need to see something on your car for a while to be sure.

You can always have it painted on later if you really like it.

Exactly my thought process. I plan on keeping my ta for life and maybe I'll want to take the phoenix on when i'm older to return the car to more of a stock look. The decal is only 60 bucks so I think it's a pretty cheap experiment...
