I stumbled into mine. It was sitting on a F_rd used car lot with only 13K miles on it. I bought it on the spot for 20K. It was in and still is mint condition. The sale person had no idea what it was. Some guy traded it in for a pickup truck. Typical Mass. morone.

    Navy Blue Metallic
    1998 Trans Am WS6

    Hey everyone. First post.

This thread caught my eye because I just purchased a navy blue metallic 1998 T/A WS6 with about 36k miles. I forked out 13,750. I was willing to pay that much because of the condition of the car, the low mileage, and it's kinda my dream car. Been waiting a while to get into one of these and it was the only one that had all that I was looking for and in my area.

I know it doesn't bear repeating, but that dealer was indeed out of their minds. For that much it better be a Blackbird...

Its not uncommon to see that. In my area a 98 WS6 with 100k on the clock with run 10-11 grand. And need tires, have some paint work..its just rediculous. I have been looking for almost 6 months now, wont be long and I'll be able to buy one strait up cash at the rate im saving.

Last summer I looked at getting a 05 C6 Z51 and with about 40k miles on mine they offered me 20K on trade for my 2001. The Vette was about 2 grand high on the price so I figured they were giving me about 17-18K.
