    DD eng light??? help

    i have a 2006 pontiac grand prix as a DD .. its got 60 few k on it.. the code is p0420 .. cat code.. is it known to go out on my pos??? or is it just a 02 sensor?

    I got that code on my 02 T/A and this is what I have found out:

    I was told it was the Drivers Side Rear O2 Sensor and then this morning my alternator went out. I replaced the alternator with a brand new one (about $150) and the service engine light went out and has yet to come back on.
