    Dashboard changing time

Ok, so the infamous dashboard strikes again. Me, I'm not the type to cover up a problem, Id rather fix it. I've got a new dash for my 97 T/A coming to my house on Tuesday Dec 9th. Whats the easiest way to take out the old and install the new? Thanks in advance for any/all help!!

When you say dash what exactly are you talking about? The dash pad? the piece that comes out to the defogger? or?

The gigantic piece of platic crap that is known for cracking. Yes, where the defroster is, and the blinking led for the alarm.

Nice I just replaced mine today! Anyway if your car is a Ttop car just take the ttops off. And there will be 2 screws that holds the pillars on. Remove those and pull that piece off. Then you can put your fingers under the dash pad and pull up gently. Its only held on by 5 or so clips. Its very simple only took me about 10 mins! Just take your time!

Yup thats it! Like I said its only held on by like 5 clips are a little bit of velco. Mine came right out and the new one slid right in. Just be careful sliding the new one in and gently push it down in the front (closest to you) to snap the clips down. then press down towards the windshield to seal the dash pad to the velco. and your done!! I was very surprised and like i said it took me 10 mins this morning by myself haha.
