    Dash piece '02

I have a plastic dash filler piece that is nice but out of a junk yard car and was wondering if I could remove the velcro pieces from the bottom of the dash and just set it in the car loose so that it doesnt crack while applying pressure to those points during installation.

Probably coudn't hurt to try, although you may get a rattle or other noise without them.
