I have you all beat .......! Try a deer... head on ...at 80 + mph at night !! I didn't even know what happened !! There was this loud bang !! A small hesitation in the speed of the car and then I continued down the road until I look over at my buddy and asked " What the H*ll was that !!" We couldn't turn around because all I had to drive by was the fog lights. ( flip up Head lights got rip out of their sockets ) I got the car back to my friends house, just down the road, and all that was left of the front was deer carnage, a missing hood, zero headlight lamp and motors, and the front nose was shoved down about 6". Oh yeah....the windshield was cracked and rear spoiler scratched to heck!

The insurance paid for it since there was chunks of deer meat inside the engine bay! (that was all the proof they needed) Took three month for the body shop to locate, recieve parts and put my car back together....8 grand later!! Glad I had insurance !!!

they can't hurdle a coon either, but they take a cat pretty nice if you give them the wheel.

dunno. whacked it at about 45mph. It was big enough that I felt it go under the diff. Looked almost like a smaller lab with longer hair. Just decided to take off across a 4-lane highway. Only made it 1 1/2 though

yup. Covered. Thank you Progressive all I had to shell out was $200 for my deductable. Otherwise it would have been $900. They didn't want to cover the $50 aftermarket front plate cover, but the guy suggested that the body shop tack it on to the repair bill to get it

When the hell did that happen Doc??? Worst thing that happened with one of my cars was a damn deer decided to run out of the ditch and stop in front of my car as I'm traveling 70+.. locking up the brakes and about 3 craps later.. the damn thing HURTLES my car! I watched it in slow motion jump the hood.. the windshield, t-tops.. back hatch.. land.. roll.. then get up and run away! I was going to be PISSED taht he trashed my car and ran away... SO when the car came to a stop... I got out and checked. thankfully he jumped just fast enough he creased my front plate... took it off.. straighteded it out.. and good as new. lol.

before you even knew about it. That's why it was ok that changing the headlight motors scratched things up on the bumper. The paint didn't stick the first time so the shop re-did it.
