    Damn compression!

    So technically it's a blessing in disguise but at the same time this sucks. Went to have the car dyno tuned and wow, my numbers are dismal. I went from having 500 rwhp on a 11:1 compression motor to 320 rwhp I'm stock!!!!! Car sounds mean as hell but I have no get up anymore. I got beat by a stock 98 z28. I mean stock too, no lid, no free mods, nada!!!! But it's good also because I dropped about 3 whole compression points with the new bottom end. I'm now running a 8:8.1 CR with the same H/C. Looking into either a D-1sc procharger to run about 12psi of boost or an STS system with the upgraded GT76 turbo to run about 16 psi. I dunno, choices choices. I love the sound of a BOV but at the same time I love the whine of a supercharger and the look of the ATI polished plenum sitting up in front. Whatever happens though, it's going to mean a lot of boost and a lot of power. I'm looking to have everything done by about December. So until then, I guess I'm going to have to live with being pretty much stock
