Midnight Blue- 1998 Trans Am
Cracked door
So I was changing out my window motor the other day, and I noticed a crack in my door that seems to go from the bottom hinge, under the door, and up around the front. Very long crack, and this door never did close right. Is this something that has happened to other people? Common problem with the trans am? Figured Ill just have to buy a new door when I repaint the car.

I don't know anyone who had that happen but I have replaced a few TA's and Z28's that got hit in the door. The doors are like $150 for a real nice one. I usually can even find them the same color as the car so I just have to paint the outside and don't have to bother with the jambs.

Sounds like it is torque/vibration related. Never heard of this before.
