    cowl pieces

I am looking for new cowl covers for a 2001 ram air. I know that they do not make them from Gm anymore. Is there any aftermarket places that do....

    Any Help,

    Thank you,,,

    Welcome to the site!

You'll either have to find someone parting out an F-body, or score a set in a boneyard. There are a couple of on-line F-body vendors that deal in used parts as well. I see you are in H-burg - were you at GM Carlisle this year?

Are you talking about the fiberglass inserts, just inside the air ducts?

I assumed he was referring to the black plastic panels by the wipers... good question though.

I thought of that too, but mentioning it was for a ram air....figured he may have been talking about those.

Hey Jeff, this is an old post i know but do you know of a site on here that describes how to remove and replace the cowl pieces that sheffie22 is talking about?? yeah,, the 2 piece plastic item under the windshield wipers. I got them at GM carlise last year. I had a windshield replaced a while back and the goof-ball broke off an end-tab and now it just sticks out. Anyway, I don't want to break them either and i want to know the right way to do it. What is the correct name for that piece anyway ??
