Hypertech Programmer III (handheld device) will move shift points for you... or get a LS1Edit or HPTuners pro tune at a pro shop.

The shift points that work with Hypertech aren't much. + or - 3 mph per gear. What gear ratio are you running?

nope for A4, the one I got Hypertech Prog III had + or - 6 for 1st and 2nd and I believe + or - 12mph for 3 and 4th. but then I sold the unit and got LS1Edit pro tune at a shop since I got some significant bolt ons.

Thats strange, mines an A4 and it only adjusts by 3mph either way.

I have the same gear ratio and I personally think that 1st gear is plenty tall enough. You make it any taller with that gear ratio and the motor is gonna bog down unless you've got some mods.
