^^ So wanted to hit the "Like" button, but I restrained myself.
They do have a couple of common quirks, such as the factory installed leaky pinion seal. Not sure what the RPO code was on that, but they all seem to do it. Look at everything (use a flashlight as it will help draw your attention to something you might otherwise miss, a la CSI) , test everything to see if it works, plug a scanner into the OBDII port, and get the car in the air to look it over from the bottom. All of this is better to do before you pull the trigger, but now that you own it you can still check everything out.
Congrats!!!

Fuel pump uses the fuel as a cooling agent so don't let her get below an 1/8 tank or you risk burning the pump

I'm so paranoid about it I rarely let the tank get below a quarter at the most usually no more then half.

The fuel itself cools the pump.

^^ This. It is a return style system so the fuel is constantly flowing to the engine, passing through the rails, and any excess fuel is returned to the tank. Think of how warm an air compressor gets pumping air -- pressure and friction create heat. The pump itself rides in a bucket that is kept full of fuel no matter what the level in the tank. However, the more fuel there is the better the heat disbursement.

Just about every two years, like clockwork, I have to change the secondary air injection valves. Most of the time, one can clean out the insides with carb' cleaner and re-use them, the new parts range from $25-50 each, depending where you go.

I must have totally misconstrued something then... I thought the FPR was on the return line in the canister.

yeah but it doesn't make the trip to the rail and then back. Think about how many connections are on the rail. You can make them a return style and run the regulator up there.

Never had my rail off, but yeah, only one connection that I know of now that you mention it. Hmmm...
