Technically they are different. One is a bike, one is a car. Therefore, they cannot be one of the same. Similar, yes, but the "same"....no.
Either way you look at it, the point is, if my friend got in a serious bike accident and wanted to ride again after he was OK, I wouldn't call him a dumbass.
I think we can all agree that we all have a love and passion for our cars. That is why we come here and belong to this forum. This passion is what we look forward to each and every opportunity we get to go out for a fun cruise. It doesn't matter if you drive a 4 cyl. turbo, 6 banger (sorry if you do though), a V8, or a motorcycle. Bottom line is a hobby is a hobby and if you love it with that much passion, you aren't going to give it up because you had a mishap.
If you do give it up, it wasn't there to begin with.

ive spent 2000 dollars on motorcycle gear. i do trackdays, and i wear the same gear on the street. my one piece leather suit, fulle face helmet, gloves, and boots. i barely wear my seatbelt when i drive. im just weird... lol
