Cleaning spot for a Emblem
What should I use to clean the spot I am about to stick an emblem?
Does that 3m tape on the ws6 emblem's stick really good? After finally getting an emblem at a great price I don't want nobody to easily steal it.
I went to autozone and bought some 3m super adhesive. If somebody wants to steal my emblem their going to have to take the entire bumper... lol
My buddy says I am overreacting and the 3m tape will be fine... Any suggestions

no offense guys but I think rubbing alcohol is overkill a good wash with soap is all you really need are you really going to be yanking on this thing.
if someone is going to steal... no amount of prep is going to stop them... they'll get it off.

water and soap would probably be enough, but if i paid for a emblem, especially a custom one from third shift studios,i would use alcohol, just to be absolutely sure.

IDk but if I paid for an emblem I would use wax and grease remover.. not stuff that is made to clean cuts and sterilize crap...

alcohol will clean all kinds of things, most importantly it will strip wax off your car making a prime spot to affix a emblem, but wax and grease remover will too, matter of preference i guess.stay away from the citrus stuff like goo gone it leaves a greasy film.

For an area that small, alcohol will do fine.
