the 6th gear band is known to burn up at high speeds... ask any SVT owner. Trust me I USED to be a Mustang guy...

From that list, there isn't much choice really. The 03/04 Cobra is clearly the best option you listed.

cause it has to match the rest of the car.. to me they are the worst looking cars on the road.... and of course every other car you see is a ME2..... "oh, you have a mustang? me 2!!!!"

Yea but if you really look at them most of them are V6s, some GTs, few cobras, and even fewer mach1s

i would say go with the WS6 for all around reliability it'd be the way to go. throw a small cam and do some suspension work and some NO2, full exhaust, with some stout gears and with a six speed it'll be fast and handle great and you'll get high 26+mpg's on the highway. Depending on the shot you could be capable of 11's i'd think and with a really good tune you'd running strong for a long time.

For speed, stock yes but wouldn't it take a lot of money to make those hit the 11s? And don't our cars have more potential since they have bigger engines? The way I see it, you could hit the 11s with this car for the price of a stock cobra, am I wrong?

Are u refering to the cobra? If so all it would take is a pulley, intake and exhaust. About 700-1000 give or take, not a lot considering what it takes an LS1 to run 11's.

I could care less about gas milage, thats not the reason I bought the car. Sure it would be nice if gas was $0.90 like it was back in 2001, but the fact is is that its not! I am sorry guys, COBRAS are fast mofo's. For roughley $1000 you can get one in the 11's and thats still on the stock blower, no porting or anything. By all means im not saying the LS1 isnt fast, i was running 12.50's through stock manifolds. Cobras are nice, but so is there price tag.
