    i did too on that 6, dont take a pressure washer to it too close, it'll be fine,

    handwashing theres nothing at all to worry about

    If you want a good lasting paint stay out of autozone and go to any dupont or PPG store. There's a company called SEM they make a trim black which lays smooth with no lines. Also it washes easy and doesn't fade. I own a small paint and body shop but I still used the spray can instead of a gun and my compressor. All you have to do for prep is wet sand it with 800 or 1000 drit sand paper till it's all flat and the shine is gone. Then spray a few light coast and one wet coat last. This is from when I did mine.

    good advice, i didnt even recommend what kind of sand paper to use, i'm sure theres better paint out there, autozone is the only place i knew of when i did it

    Duplicolor makes good wheel paint and there high temp engine, and brake caliper kits are cool but the SEM is the best can spray for a clean look. I did mine almots 3yrs ago and still looks as good as the day i did it.

    Any auto paint supply shop will have it. PPG, Dupont, and Sherwin Williams auto paint.
